My older dog, Mr. Jaxx, ate about 3 oz of chocolate and has thrown up most of it. He is currently quivering and I gave him half a Tums. Should I be concerned about any other symptoms, and is it safe to take him for a walk to help him process the chocolate?

My Shi Tzu, LaToya, has been scratching her left ear and it is red inside. She has also been scratching all over for about a month. Could she have an ear infection, and is there anything I can do before taking her to the vet?

I have a five-month-old corgi pup named Tom who seems very lethargic after drinking a lot of water. He has been panting heavily and urinated excessively. His stomach was bloated but is now going down. Is it okay for him to sleep and pant, and should I monitor him for any further symptoms?

My 7-year-old female blue heeler has been diagnosed with anal cancer that has spread to her sub lumbar lymph nodes. The lymph nodes are filling with fluid, preventing her from emptying her bladder and making it difficult to defecate. The vet can drain the lymph nodes, but they will fill up again. The surgery and treatment necessary will cost over $10,000, not including the $3,000 already spent. The prognosis for this type of cancer is about one more year with treatment. We are not financially able to spend this kind of money. Is there a way we can prevent or routinely drain the lymph nodes and keep her comfortable if we choose not to treat the cancer?
