My Pomeranian was eating when the doorbell rang, causing her to cough and dislodge a piece of food. Since then, she has been gagging and coughing intermittently for about 5 hours, as if she thinks something is still lodged in her throat. She's breathing fine, is alert, and eats bread without issue, but her throat seems sore as she keeps swallowing hard. Should I be concerned, and is there anything I can do to help her?

My 10-year-old lab-mix, Lily, has been having difficulty urinating. She started urinating on an enclosed porch recently, and now she seems unable to urinate after squatting for a while. I don't have funds for a $300+ vet visit at this time. Can I safely give her leftover Macrobid, which was prescribed for my own suspected infection, until we can follow up?

My yorkie is acting really weird. She was fine all day and now she won't move, walks in circles, stares at the wall, paces hyperly back and forth, won't sit still for long, won't eat, drink water, or use the bathroom. What could be causing this behavior and what should I do?

My dog ate some of my wall. Should I take him to the vet or try to make him throw up?

My Labrador passed a whole nectarine pit in her stool, which was dark red and possibly bloody. She was not eating or drinking yesterday but has been eating rice and ground beef today and seems to feel better. Should we continue to monitor her stool for a day or so, or call the local vet now?

My dog, Rebel, has been constantly itching all over for about three months. His skin isn't patchy like mange, and he doesn't have fleas. Oatmeal baths provide temporary relief, but the itching returns. He had mange when we got him, but it hasn't reappeared. What could be causing his itching, and what can I do to help him?
