My puppy, Beauty, has been vomiting and having diarrhea today, is very tired and drained/sleepy, and has vomited foamy liquid with some food and grass. She has been eating the same diet as usual, including boiled chicken or dry dog food, and had her first meal today before the symptoms started. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Max, a 1.5-year-old, has been coughing since Friday. He had kennel cough back in August and it cleared up with antibiotics. I'm worried he has it again. His breathing is normal, but he gets coughing fits if he pants or barks. His appetite is good, and he's eating and drinking as normal. I have some cough suppressants that help a little. Should I take him to the vet tomorrow or an emergency vet today?
