My puppy (born 10-1-17) has been breathing rapidly while awake and at rest for a few days now. Before that, he drank and peed frequently, much more than my other puppy did at that age. He often peed 2-3 times an hour and it was pale to clear. He doesn’t pee that often now but the rapid breathing has persisted. Yesterday he had a runny nose. He’s still active but does seem to nap a little more. But overall he still plays with us and my other dog. Just worried about the breathing. It’s fast all the time, in the 80s and heart rate 150. No cough. He’s an Australian cattle dog mix. What could be causing this rapid breathing and should I take him to the vet sooner than his scheduled appointment on Jan 4th?

My 11.5-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Lotti, has an unusual sudden swelling in one hind leg with no injury or tumor, normal blood markers, and a high fever that has come down to 103. She is eating well and showing good vital signs except for an accelerated heart rate. She has been tested for Lyme disease and is negative. What could be causing this swelling, and what should I look for or do next?

I have a 5 and a half month old Golden Retriever named Chester who had his right arm amputated at the shoulder at 3 weeks old. Recently, we noticed a fluid buildup mixed with blood in the amputation area. My husband has been draining it daily, removing about 18 to 24 cc's, and giving him Amoxicillin. Is there anything else we can do to prevent this or should we take him to the vet?

My 6-month-old Newfoundland pup, Adeline, has had diarrhea with brown stool containing mucous. We have tried Flagyl, prescription foods, and other medications like Pcn and steroids, but they were unsuccessful. What should we do next?

I just got a 6-week-old puppy named Lilly. When I picked her up, I noticed she wasn't wanting to bear weight on her front leg. She will put some weight on it but then quickly picks it up. She let me feel and didn't make any noises like it hurt. What could be the issue and what should I be aware of?
