My puppy, Charlie Trailmix, ate some of a leaf from a peace lily plant. He threw up a couple of times throughout the night and again after breakfast and dinner. He is still showing signs of being hungry, drinking, and urinating. Should I call the vet first thing in the morning or wait to see if he'll hold down his breakfast?

My dog, Kiki, is around 14 years old and has been experiencing a lack of appetite, difficulty getting her back legs up, heavy breathing, and vomiting five times yesterday. She also has a bad hip and a torn ligament. She ate one of my ankle socks and threw up several times before it came out. Today, she managed to get up once to go outside and pee but needed help. What can be done to help her at home and what might be causing these symptoms?
