My puppy, Chiple, has a bald spot that's red and inflamed on his hip area. I wanted to know if there's a way to tell if it's hotspots and how I should treat it. The skin looks a little dry and bumpy, and he's started to lick it today. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 10-month-old Shih-Poo, Scruffy, vomited 3 times, urinated a dark color, and is not eating or moving like usual. I took him to the vet, where he received IV fluids under the skin, a nausea medication shot, and a negative parvo test. He is currently lethargic and not interested in food or water. What else can be done to help Scruffy recover?
