My 3-year-old dog, Drake, has been waking up with a cough that lasts about 10 seconds and then goes back to sleep normally. This has happened twice in the past two nights, but hours apart from each other. He is energetic, has an appetite, and is not vomiting. His breathing is normal during the day and between episodes.
