My dog, Jar Jar, is tachycardic after eating chocolate. He was given SQ fluids, nausea meds, and Pepcid by the vet, but his heart rate has been around 120 for hours and he is restless. He is 7 months old and weighs 67 pounds. He vomited for a couple of hours after eating the chocolate. What should be done?

Diesel, an 11-year-old Rottweiler/Retriever mix on thyroid medication, has been vomiting out of the blue, with more liquid and foamy vomit today. He is depressed and has not had his thyroid medication due to vomiting. He has not had diarrhea and his gums are bright pink and moist, indicating he is hydrated. What could be causing his vomiting and is there anything I can do to help him, especially given our financial constraints?
