My dog, Pepper, a 2-year-old Pomeranian, has been experiencing severe reverse sneezing accompanied by abnormal breathing noises, sounding congested and straining to breathe. She was on allergy medicine this summer for head shaking/twitching but is no longer on it. She has recently started twitching her head again. What could be causing this, and should she be seen by a vet sooner than her scheduled appointment?
