My senior Yorkshire Terrier, Ryley, has 'elephant skin' and has developed ulcer-like sores on his legs, paws, and face, including one that has eaten through his lip. Despite treating the sores with neosporin and an antibacterial spray, new sores keep appearing. Ryley is on a diet of Fresh Pet wet and Wellness dry food, takes glucosamine, Apoquel, half a baby aspirin, and half a Benadryl daily. What additional treatments can be tried to manage these sores and prevent new ones from appearing?

I accidentally gave my chihuahua with lymphoma, who is on chemotherapy and takes prednisone and metronidazole, a 15mg phenobarbital tablet. Will this harm her, especially considering her recent 50mg Doxorubicin chemotherapy and her weight of 11 pounds?

My dog, Cinnamon, a 3-year-old weighing about 10 lbs, has sores all over her body, including black patches under her arm and on her stomach, and black sores on both ears. She has been scratching so much that her head is bleeding. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

We had a mouse problem and used tamper-proof poison boxes, which worked but the mice managed to get the poison out. There are pieces of the poison around, and we are concerned about potential tiny pieces or powder that we can't see. How much of a concern is this for our dog, who was not in the room with the poison but could have potentially come into contact with it?
