My Shepherd Akita mix dog, around 10 years old, suddenly went blind in both eyes overnight. Her pupils are large, cloudy, and red, and one eye had black debris. I thought she had an ear infection and made an appointment for the 5th, but now I'm really concerned. What could be wrong, and should I take her to an emergency vet?
