My sister has a 1-year-old rescue puppy that is part terrier and part shitzeu. He is high-strung but extremely intelligent. My sister is very OCD and gets upset when he doesn't follow her commands exactly. I've advised her that he's still a puppy and needs training, not yelling. Additionally, when he goes into the large fenced backyard, he constantly chews on trees and bark. What causes a dog to chew on trees and how can we address both issues?
