My smaller dog, Merle, ate a significant amount of rawhide and became almost unconscious. He has since regained motor control but is vomiting water and passing small amounts of blood. The vet said this is normal due to possible gut tearing. What should I do to help him through the night until he can be x-rayed?

My 6-month-old Frenchton (a mix between a Boston Terrier and a French Bulldog) might have eaten one of my Ambien 10 mg sleeping pills. I made her throw up twice, but there was nothing in her vomit. She weighs about 18 lbs and seems fine now, but I am worried. What should I do?

I have a 6-year-old Shar Pei named Luke who was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor (MCT) on his leg, which has metastasized to his lymph nodes. He had surgery in September, but now I've found new spots and he's having trouble breathing at night. He also has cutaneous mastocytomas (CM) all over his body. We have no local veterinarians experienced with Shar Peis, and I can't afford to travel for specialized care. What should I do for my dog?

We have a 13-year-old Labrador named Duffy who just experienced a seizure for the first time. He seems to have recovered somewhat but is breathing heavily and unable to settle. What could be the reason for this seizure, and what should we be aware of?
