Our 3-year-old golden retriever, who was very healthy and active, suddenly died while playing. He had no signs of illness, ate normally, and had a normal bowel movement before he died. We are devastated and want to understand what could have caused his sudden death. He had a history of rapid breathing and an enlarged heart was suspected in the past. What could have caused his sudden death?
