My dog has always held his tail up and it always arced over his torso when using the bathroom. For the last couple of days, I've noticed that it is hanging down in more of a tuck position (parallel to his legs) and never raises above that level. He seemed to have some difficulty passing a bowel movement yesterday but did so, but nothing has changed with the tail. Is this something I should be concerned about?

I need to contact a vet familiar with toy breeds, specifically Papillons, and show quality animals. I have a 5-month-old Papillon bitch exhibiting reverse sneezing or herfing. I am concerned about its severity and its potential impact on breeding, especially since my male Papillons also show tendencies towards reverse sneezing. Additionally, I have birds, and I'm worried about their dander contributing to the issue. How can I determine if this reverse sneezing is problematic enough to exclude her from a breeding program?
