My two-year-old male malamute seems to be sick. He is peeing a lot every hour, has no energy, and just slowly walks around. He was at a kennel and came back with a cold/flu. The vet gave him meds, but they don't seem to be working. He usually races around and wants to play but now looks drained and tired. He has peed in the house a couple of times. He is on medication: cephalexin-novo 500mg and prednisone apo 50mg. What could be causing his symptoms, and what should I do?

I have an 8-year-old Dalmatian bitch who has experienced two seizures. The first lasted 4 minutes and the second lasted 9 minutes. She has a history of breeding, and there are rumors of seizures in a prominent sire four generations back. What could be causing these seizures, and should I be concerned about genetic epilepsy?
