My Westie was vomiting clear mucus for about 4 hours yesterday and was lethargic. He then lost control of his left hind leg and was dragging himself across the room. I gave him an anti-inflammatory that was previously prescribed when his front leg was bothering him. He slept and then was able to walk. He ate some turkey with his dry food and threw that up a few hours later. I had to wake him up this morning; he slept all night without moving at all, which is not usual for him. I got back from church and he had diarrhea that was very dark and very pungent. I found him sound asleep in the bathroom. He is on lasix and vetmedin for an enlarged heart and has a collapsed trachea. This has been going on for about 4 years. He is about 15 or 16 years old. My vet will be available tomorrow morning. Does he need to be seen by an emergency facility or can I wait until the morning as she has all of his tests and records? Also, can you tell me what might be happening? The anti-inflammatory says on the bottle to discontinue if it causes diarrhea.

I have a Shih Tzu and noticed a small white pimple on his side near his leg. He seems happy and is acting normal, but I'm concerned about what it could be. What should I do?

My 11-year-old female lab cannot get up and cries when touched in her midsection. She barely managed to get up, whined when she moved a few steps, and then went down again. She won't drink water, and I'm unsure how to get her to a vet. What could be wrong with her other than just old age?
