My year-old Toy Poodle, Freedom, ingested several tablespoons of butter and immediately vomited large amounts of liquidy butter, followed by diarrhea. He seems okay now but has been drinking water and chewing on a dog bone. The incident was about 6 hours ago. Should I feed him something bland, and should I seek veterinary attention?

If Freedom ate less than half a stick of butter and vomited soon after ingestion, he should be fine....

We took our dog in on Monday for a lepto vaccine, never had one before. No immediate reaction. Then Wednesday morning, we noticed a golf ball-sized lump on his spine between his shoulder blades and he was in a lot of pain and could hardly walk. Today, he can't walk at all and the lump is gone, but both his back legs are limp. When we took him to the vet earlier this afternoon, they gave him a steroid injection. His front legs aren't shaking anymore, but he still can't walk. We can't pick him up to get him to urinate as he is in a lot of pain still. There's been no vomiting, fever, or diarrhea either. Please, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My 6-year-old dog has always laid in the same area of the yard on a chain. Recently, he has been scratching his belly when he comes inside. We live in Illinois and had a mild winter. Could there be a mite in the grass, and what should I do?

My dog seems lethargic and slow in her movements after receiving 2mg of albuterol instead of 1mg. Could this be a reaction to the medication, and if so, how long will the effects last? She also has cancer and is on rimadyl. What should I do to monitor her condition and when should I seek veterinary help?

I have an 8-year-old Yorkie who is throwing up bile and food contents, has a protein level of 4 (which should be at 5), and is experiencing runny bowel movements, sometimes watery. The vet has given B12 shots and medication for the runny bowel movements, but it hasn't improved her condition. She occasionally throws up human food and her dog food when she gets rambunctious. What could be causing this and how can it be managed?
