My 11-month-old Jack Russell Chihuahua mix, Cagney, has been hacking and experiencing throat muscle spasms for up to a minute when she gets overly excited. She was rescued from a meth house and has no visible signs of throat irritation. She eats and drinks normally and has no issues with peeing or pooing. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Kaili, a 4-year-old, has red areas on the inside of her ear flap that come and go. She doesn't seem to be in pain, but she rolls in dirt when outside, which might indicate itching. What could be causing this, and what should I do in the meantime before I can see a vet?

Our dog ate silly putty. I was just reading that it's not toxic but to look for signs of vomiting or diarrhea, possible blockage. Is that all correct? Additionally, we found the plastic shell of the silly putty but we can't find the putty. The dog is a large breed and weighs about 70 lbs. We're not sure how much she ate, assuming she ate the average size of what comes in the egg-shaped silly putties.

My elderly dog has a blood blister on the back of his leg that broke open and will not stop bleeding. We have applied pressure but it is still bleeding. The dog also has small blisters all over, which are common to his breed, a Greyhound.
