My Yorkie, who is 6 lbs, has hives on her tummy. We were in the ER 2 days ago, and she was clear yesterday, but they appeared again last night. She is not sleeping because she is itching and scratching, and I am not sleeping because I want to make sure she is breathing. In the ER, they gave her a shot of Benadryl and a steroid, which worked immediately. Why do the hives come back at night?

How can I get a prescription for my puppy? I got her back from the pound on Saturday and now she is coughing, and I've been through this before with my other dog.

My 9+ year old Rottweiler mix has two masses on her belly, just past the rib cage. The vet found increased enzyme levels but an ultrasound found nothing. Since then, the masses have formed. She's had some small masses removed already, one from her shoulder (benign) and one from her toe, which was diagnosed as a benign melanoma. She's also had several masses form on her skin.
