One of my dogs may have eaten my brother's carvedilol 3.125. The dogs are CJ, a 65 lbs pitbull mix rescue, and Tobias, an 11 lbs shih-tzu pom mix. Neither dog is on any medication. I think CJ got it, but I'm not sure if Tobias may have as well. What should I do and what should the veterinarian be aware of?

I got my 2-month-old Maltese puppy today and gave him a new type of food, followed by a bath. After drying him, I noticed a bloated, hard stomach and he was shaking. His stomach is now softer but I'm still concerned. What could be the cause of his bloated stomach and what should I do next for his health, including vaccinations and care while I travel for work?

My dog isn't eating, is shivering, and is hiding under the bed more often. She is drinking, peeing, and not showing signs of vomiting or diarrhea. She has a gray spot on her upper tooth and is up to date with her shots, with a history of a hernia operation at 6 months. What could be causing her symptoms and what can I do to help her?

My 75-pound lab had surgery to remove an 11-pound tumor and his spleen. He has been crying and whining in pain for 48 hours straight, despite being given Gabapentin 300 mg, tramadol, and a shot of buprenorphine. I gave him 4 mg of my own hydromorphone, but I'm worried about overdosing him. Is 4 mg too much, and can I increase it if necessary? What is the safe oral dosage of hydromorphone for my dog according to vet guidelines?

Our one-year-old Cockapoo got a haircut on Saturday and has been incessantly licking his scrotum since, causing it to become red and slightly swollen. We have tried using an inflatable ring to prevent licking, but it is distressing him. We found an ointment called Sulfodene 3-way ointment for dogs and are considering using it. What should we do?
