Our 12-week-old puppy, who was hit by a softball in her side/belly earlier today, is now acting lethargic, has a shaking head, is walking funny, and has been dry heaving. What could be causing these symptoms and what should we do?

My puppy, Zoe, has blood around her eyes. I just noticed it about an hour ago. Could it be pink eye? She has been kind of lazy but still active and playing. Her pupils dilated when I put a light in her eye. She hasn't had any head trauma that I know of, and there are no weird head or eye movements, tremors, or other unusual signs.

I accidentally gave my 5.9 lb dog, Teenie, an extra dose of Enalapril (1/2 of a 2.5 mg pill) at 8:30pm, in addition to her regular morning dose at 8:30am. Teenie is 9 years old and also takes Vetmedin and Furosemide. She had Bordatella and Lepto vaccines yesterday and appears okay, but I'm concerned about potential side effects. Should I be worried about the extra dose, and are there any precautions I should take?

My dog, Drogan, is very anxious when I try to clip his nails, to the point where I can't do it and he becomes physically ill. His nails are very long, and it's causing stress for both of us. Do you have any solutions to help manage his anxiety and safely trim his nails?

My English lab, Trudy, who is 3.5 years old and weighs 64lbs, has been experiencing an ear infection for about 3 days. We've called 12 different vets and can't be seen for a week. What can I do in the meantime, and is there an over-the-counter product that might help?

My dog, Dobby, a 2-year-old weighing 58 lbs, ate 4-5 Hershey dark chocolate kisses about 2 1/2 hours ago. He hasn't thrown up yet and is now breathing heavily. Is this normal, and should I be concerned about chocolate toxicity?
