Our 13-year-old Border Collie suddenly began walking in a drunken fashion, vomiting, having eye flickering and rolling, panting, being very thirsty and distressed. He had a history of worsening osteoarthritis since surviving a paralysis tick a couple of years ago. The vet suspected a brain or central nervous system issue, possibly a major infection, and recommended euthanasia due to the high cost of mainland treatment. We opted for euthanasia, but now wonder if it could have been old age vestibular syndrome. Did we make the right decision?

I have a pure-blooded Great Pyrenees, 16 months old, who recently had her first litter of pups. She has lost a significant amount of weight and all of her soft coat fur. We are feeding her 9 cups of Purina Puppy Chow and 6 cups of Purina Dog Chow Complete Adult daily. What can we do to help her gain weight and recover her coat?

My dog Cody, who is 6 years old, has been coughing for almost 4 months. He was treated for a secondary infection with doxycycline but it didn't help. He also sounds congested when breathing and might have a fever. My other dogs are also coughing, making me think it might be a bad case of Kennel cough. What should I do?

My 8-pound Chihuahua/Min Pin mix chewed on a tube of Blistex Medicated Lip Ointment and ingested a little. She has had bad diarrhea over the last 12 hours. Should I be concerned? Additionally, she took a couple of sips of my smoothie yesterday which contained fruit and spinach. Could the spinach have caused the diarrhea?

My 12 lb dog, Kora, ate an 80 mg Coreg CR. I gave her 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide and she vomited about 8-12 oz of semi-solid stomach contents. Should I give her another dose of peroxide in 15 minutes?
