Our 5-year-old basset hound, Barney, stopped eating yesterday. He drinks a lot of water, occasionally throws it up (clear), but most of the water stays down. He is lethargic, won't eat, and turns his head away from offered food like chicken and rice, broth. He shows no signs of pain when his abdomen is palpitated, and he is not bloated. He is still peeing and is not neutered. What could be causing his symptoms and what should we do?
