Our 6-year-old black and tan hound was diagnosed with Addison's disease in December 2018. He is currently on 2.5mg of prednisone daily and 4mg of zycortal by injection every 25 days. Despite being on these medications, he exhibits excessive thirst and increasing incontinence. What can be done to address these side effects?

Hi, we noticed some rough scaly spots on our dog's head yesterday and are unsure if we should take her to the vet. Her name is Riesling, she's 4 years old, and she's a golden retriever. She isn't scratching the area with the spots, but she has been scratching other areas. What could these spots be, and what should we do?

I have a Dachshund/Terrier mix named Bugsy. For the past 2-3 years, the inside of his foot pads have stayed red and inflamed. My vet has tried antibiotics, anti-fungus pills, and recently blood work to identify allergens, which showed he is predominantly allergic to dust mites, pine cone needles, and a host of fungus. He has been on a serum to build resistance and has had treatments with Apoquel, Cytopoint, Fluconazole, and Phytovet CK Antiseptic wipes, but nothing has worked for more than 2 days. His pads and in between are still red and itchy, and he chews on his feet. Is there anything else I could be trying?
