Our 8-year-old lab has bad calluses on his elbows, hygromas, and one started bleeding today. We've been keeping it covered with a sock and applying Neosporin, but he's become defensive about it. The wound is now showing a yellowish discharge. Should we treat this as an emergency, or can it wait until our scheduled vet appointment on Tuesday? Additionally, we have Trazadone for anxiety and are considering giving it to him. What else can we do for him in the meantime?
