Our dog (35 lbs. beagle) just ate a pack of Orbit SweetMint gum containing xylitol. We calculated that our dog ate around 30 mg/kg of xylitol. Should we take our dog to the vet or should we be okay? Are there any treatments at home that we should use? What about giving her some extra bland food like rice?

I have a keeshond. She is losing a large amount of undercoat from her front hips, stomach, and even a little on her face. Her appetite and behavior are fine, but her skin is pigmenting in black patches. What could be causing this hair loss, and what should I check or do?

I am changing my dog from a homemade diet to a high-quality kibble. She had issues with kibble as a puppy but is now transitioning slowly. She has had loose stools for the past two days after increasing her kibble intake to 1/3-1/2 cup. Should I continue feeding the kibble, assuming it's just her adjusting to the new diet?

I fed my 8-pound Chihuahua mix about 5 raisins, which I was told are toxic to dogs. I took him to the vet but couldn't afford the treatment. Is my dog going to die, and what should I do?

My German Shepherd has been treated for heartworms in the past and is now skinny with visible ribs, walking like an old dog despite being young. Thyroid and kidney function tests are normal, liver function is slightly off, monocyte count is high, and fecal exam is normal. She was also vomiting but has stopped recently. What could be causing her weight loss and lethargy?
