He has eaten Kleenex before and always passed it. How do I know if he will be okay until the morning, and what should I do in the meantime?

My dog, Penny, a five-year-old fox red Labrador weighing about 60 lbs, has been vomiting liquid without food at least 5 or 6 times. She also eats grass when outside and doesn't seem interested in eating. She holds water down, and her gums are wet and slippery, with normal skin elasticity. What could be causing this and what can I do to help her?

My 9-year-old spayed, vaccinated mixed-breed female dog, Cookie, had a bout of diarrhea with blood and mucus on Monday. She was prescribed Cerenia and Flagyl by the vet, but since then, she hasn't had a bowel movement despite being on a bland diet of rice and eggs. She's active, eating, and drinking, but I'm concerned about the lack of bowel movement and the last bloody diarrhea episode. What should I do?
