Our dog has a severe skin irritation that looks slightly bloody or puss-like on his neck. He has had itchy, dry skin for a long time but it has never been this bad before. What steps should we take until we can see our vet tomorrow?

Hi Dr. Fields! Ada’s mom (Ashley) here again. Ada has had two episodes of urinary incontinence within the last 30 minutes. She is awake but groggy, can walk, ate dinner recently, and is tolerating food without vomiting. Her last poop was today and was formed and regular. She is not on any new medications and we have not tried any new foods today. She did tear a hole in our kitchen floor linoleum, but no chocolate or unfriendly doggy foods are accessible. What could be causing this and what should I do?
