Our dog just ate the plastic-paper that was underneath a roaster chicken. What should we do? Is she likely to pass it? She is a 2-year-old 40 lb. English Shepherd.

My Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Tag, had an incident with a horse 3-4 months ago where he was stepped on, resulting in a fractured toe treated with a splint. After the splint was removed, he had a slight limp which resolved, but now he is arching his back and exhibiting ataxia in his rear legs. I'm concerned about the potential cause and whether continuing with Rimadyl is the right approach. What could be wrong with Tag, and what steps should I take to diagnose and treat his condition?

My dog has an ACL problem in his left leg. Recently, his leg was sore, and he had trouble getting up. The next day, I noticed his underbelly was distended, flabby, and irritated. His bad leg started swelling, and his body seemed full of fluid. I took him to the vet, who couldn't identify the issue but did blood work, which was normal. They prescribed doxycycline and a pain pill. After four doses, there's no change. Could it be an allergic reaction to Cosequin DS or Gabapentin? Should I continue with these supplements and medications? What should I do if the swelling doesn't improve?
