Our dog, Norman, an 8-year-old weighing 64 pounds, recently ate a 1/2” wide and 1.5-yard long strip of fleece. He is acting normal, has eaten dog food, and had a normal soft bowel movement, but he is panting and bloated. What should we do, and what other signs should we watch for?

My dog, Lulu, a 3-year-old Yorki-Wawa, has been excessively licking her paws and herself for the past two days. Her tongue feels warmer than usual, and she's not as playful as she usually is.
