Our dogs have red scabs all over and are constantly itching to the point of losing fur. We live in the bush, but we can't see any ticks, fleas, or mites on them. We give them a weekly bath, flea and tick spray, and recently eucalyptus essential oil topically. Nothing is working. What is the likely cause of this and solution?

Our Australian Cattle dog, Lilly, age 10, acts like she has vertigo but no head tilt. Eyes are focused, no sign of pain, eating and drinking fine. When she sits or stands, she rocks left to right and rear legs occasionally give out. When she walks, her gait shifts left to right. Four days ago, she fell down three stairs but landed sitting upright. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should we do?

My dog, Zeus, a 4-year-old German Shepherd, shredded and consumed tissue, resulting in stiff poops with visible tissue on Saturday, followed by diarrhea since Sunday. He is on prescribed medications for allergies and recently finished a course of Prednisone for a burst blood vessel in his ear. His diet has not changed except for today's breakfast of rice. What should I do to help him recover?

My 5-month-old Boston Terrier, who was neutered on Monday, has misplaced his prescription of Vetprofen. He is a little agitated and restless, weighing about 18-20 lbs. Is there a safe human OTC medication I can give him? I don't know the exact mg they prescribed, but they were about the shape and size of oval-shaped 200mg ibuprofen. He was supposed to take one every 12 hours, and I am overdue for his pain pill.
