I have a 12-year-old dog with thyroid cancer that has just started on Palladia. The tumor doesn't seem to have spread, but surgery is not an option. Am I concerned if I have done the right thing?

My dog is taking clavamox, theophylline, and cyclosporine for her eyes, and she has a collapsed trachea. For the last two weeks, she has not slept well, being restless and unable to relax. Is there any medication that can be administered with these medications to help her sleep at night without affecting them? Her appetite is okay.

I have a Chow/Shepherd mix on a 1000 calorie/day diet but she continues to gain weight. She has a clean thyroid profile and is otherwise healthy. She has a bum (R) hip, so she doesn't get much exercise. What could be causing the weight gain and what can I do to help her lose weight?

My female Maltese has been sneezing, snorting, and wheezing for the past few days. She is eating and drinking normally but not as much water as usual. She still plays but not as much as she usually does. She has been around other dogs recently. Is there something I can do for her in the meantime?

My 12-year-old Dalmatian drinks a large amount of water. She is in good physical shape, gets plenty of exercise, and eats well. I have occasionally noticed a touch of blood in her stool. What could be the cause of her increased water intake and the blood in her stool?
