My boxer is on phenobarbital, zonisamide, and prednisone. He has been adjusting to these medications since December, but he still has very noisy and difficult breathing, especially when lying down, and doesn't move much. Is this a side effect of the medication, or should I take him to the hospital?

My old dog is awake all night pacing and whining, then fast asleep all day. He is happy, has a great appetite, no weight loss, and good stools.
