We are moving cross country and cannot find a vet, even emergency. Our 2-year-old beagle rescue, Merle, has a history of kennel cough with a lingering cough that seems to be gone now. He had amoxicillin for two weeks then doxycycline. Now for two weeks, he has bloody stool with diarrhea, a lot of mucous, and tries to vomit in the morning with no production just foam. He has a lot of energy and has been given boiled rice with a small amount of canned food but dislikes it. He has had two X-rays, one of his stomach and one of his lungs, which showed a slight haze in the lung that could be old scar tissue. He has all vaccinations, Advantage 2, Sentinel, and a Seresto tick collar. He has been given omeprazole 10mg for three mornings in a row prior to feeding and is on a quad dewormer. What can be done to help him?
