We have a 14-week-old puppy with diarrhea for the last 2-3 weeks. The vet found no parasites, gave dewormers, and prescribed METRONIDAZOLE, but the diarrhea persists. The puppy is otherwise healthy, playful, gaining weight, and not dehydrated. He is also getting a probiotic daily. His poop is mushy, not watery. His brother tested positive for hookworms and had similar symptoms. What else can we try?
