We have a 16-month-old Borzoi named Sequoia with congenital heart defects including mitral and tricuspid dysplasia and a septal defect, with a 5 of 6 heart murmur. We started him on Vetmedin 3 1/2 weeks ago, but it seems to be making him worse, with increased heart rate, more panting, and needing to lie down during walks. We've heard Vetmedin hasn't been proven safe for congenital defects, and we're wondering if it's making him worse. What should we do?

My 13-week-old dog, Daisy, has blue skin and puffy eyes, and is very itchy. This started just now, and she had a simple guard today, but her eyes weren't this puffy earlier. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Jae, a 7-year-old mini long-haired dachshund, has a scabbed-over wound in her armpit and an allergic reaction or something on her leg and between her big toe. She has no other symptoms, is behaving normally, and has normal breathing, heart rate, urine, and bowel movements. What could be causing this, and what should I do?

Our dog, Jasper, has a sore near his nose that we noticed yesterday. He didn't eat his dinner last night but otherwise doesn't seem bothered by it. We're concerned about what to do until our vet is open. What should we do and what should we watch for?

My dog, Midnight, a 2-year-old, has been periodically coughing and gagging since this afternoon. I initially thought he was choking on something, but I don't see anything. He can eat, drink, and is breathing okay. What could be causing this and what should I do?

One of our 7-month-old puppies, weighing around 45-50 pounds, may have eaten a peach pit. The pit is about 1 inch by 1.25 inches and 5/8 inch thick. The puppy is not showing any abnormal behavior, but we are concerned about potential dangers. Should we induce vomiting or wait and monitor the situation?
