My bull mastiff, Rainbow, was stolen and returned today. Since then, she has been vomiting excessively and appears weak and starved. Her stomach is also red, possibly from being kicked. What can I do to help her until I can take her to the vet in the morning?

My dog, Zelda Rose, has been limping for the last four days, and we're not sure if walking her is making it worse. She's an 8-year-old, 80-pound dog who has been on glucosamine chondroitin. We took her to the vet, but she wasn't in pain at the time. Now, she barely puts any pressure on her back leg and has been licking her leg excessively. What could be causing her limp, and what can we do to make her more comfortable until we can get her to the vet?

Our Bernese dog, 15 months old and weighing 89 lbs, has started getting bumps on his muzzle, lips, and corners of his eyes. He then itches them, causing them to become bloody. The vet gave him a steroid shot, antibiotics, and antihistamines, but the bumps have not fully resolved. What could be causing these bumps, and what further steps can be taken to help our dog?

My dog was diagnosed with polymyositis, possibly from an allergic reaction. I added a new food to her regular Canidae diet around the time it started. After treatment with prednisone, the condition is almost gone. Can I use the open bag of Canidae? Is my vet correct that allergic reactions are almost never from food? If the prednisone makes her feel sick, is there another treatment?

I took my 5-month-old puppy to Kentucky last week where she met her siblings from the same litter. Since returning home, she has been acting strangely, not her usual energetic self, and has vomited white slimy foam. She refuses to eat or drink water and is lethargic. Should I be worried, and what should I do?
