We have a baby raccoon around 6 to 7 weeks old that we've been caring for for about 3 weeks. He is eating well but has a layer of dry skin on his back that itches him. No hair loss, no fleas, and no blisters. What could it be and how can we treat it?

Can my dog take OxyContin for pain? And if so, what dosage? She weighs about 125-135 lbs, is 9 years old, and has been experiencing pain in her back leg or hip for about 3 weeks. She also has Lyme disease that affects her joints.

My dog Nanna is about 2 to 3 weeks before giving birth. I noticed her underarm nipples are sunken in and filled with thick white material. I tried to clean them but couldn't get all the material out. Could it be thrush, and should I take her to the vet now or wait until her next scheduled check-up?

My 5-month-old Australian Shepherd may have ingested a small amount of Ciprodex Otic suspension (ciprofloxacin 0.3% and dexamethasone 0.1%) from a 1.5ml bottle that is now half full due to tooth marks. What are the potential effects on my dog and what should I do?

My cocker spaniel, Shaina, has been acting unusually withdrawn and anti-social. She's been off her food for a few days, seems thirsty but won't drink water, and has been lip licking. She also tried to hide and was hesitant to climb stairs. What could be causing this behavior and what should I do?

My 12-year-old Boston terrier suddenly started walking sideways, fell over, and then seemed fine after a few minutes. Her eyes seemed glazed over but pupils were not dilated. Do I need to take her to the ER vet now or can I wait and take her to her regular vet on Monday?
