We have a Welsh Pembroke Corgi. Recently, we noticed it was infested with ticks. We are approaching the problem in four ways: cutting his coat short, limiting his exposure to grass, sprinkling him daily with a powder/lotion containing tick repellent, and using a steam mop with tick repellent to disinfect the floor. Are any of these methods not recommended, and are there better ways to carry out these steps? Additionally, could you recommend the most effective tick repellent brands and other solutions to control the tick infestation?

I have been waiting for an answer on Sofee's constipation issue for over an hour. I made a payment, but Dr. Gary and Dr. Debbie did not respond. What is Sofee doing to indicate she is constipated, and will my card be charged for their non-response?

My bitch, who is in her first week of season, is exhibiting aggressive behavior and picking fights with other dogs, which is unusual for her. I am planning to breed her after progesterone testing. Will this aggressive behavior last through pregnancy and after she whelps?

I just had both of my mini schnauzers spayed on Thursday. They are 4 years old and are acting fine, eating and drinking normally, but one of them is passing a small blob of mucous with brown blood in it when she urinates. This has happened three times since the surgery. Is this normal after a spay, and should I be concerned?

My 11-year-old Pekingese/Pomeranian has been having difficulty with stairs and moving from standing to sitting. She is eating, drinking, and not showing signs of pain. I have been giving her MSM/Glucosamine supplements for about a month. Is there anything else I can do to make her more comfortable?

A muscle is hanging off my dog's hind leg. She is mobile, no pain, and allowed us to clean it and apply antibiotic and wrap it. Going to the vet tomorrow. She is 12 years old and had ACL repair in March on the opposite leg. What should I do to minimize infection and reduce healing time until I can take her to the vet?
