We have an 11-year-old red golden doodle, a rescue we've had since age 2. We were told that red and white doodles are more prone to allergies and sensitivities. Teddy started having ear infections at age 5, which led to discovering he was allergic to most medications. We tried changing his diet and saw improvements, but as seasons changed, we noticed new symptoms like black tar-like discharge in his ears, outside his nose and eyes. Teddy's demeanor and appetite remain good, but he has a consistent head tilt toward the affected ear. What advice can you provide for managing Teddy's condition and improving his quality of life?
