We need to speak to someone about our dog, King, a 14-year-old lab, snoozer mix. He has a large tumor on his back left leg and seems to be in pain, starting to lick the skin around it. What should we do?

Given King's age and the size of the tumor, conservative (medical) care is unlikely to be effective....

My dog, Chelsea, a 16-month-old weighing about 20 lbs, ate 4 pieces of chocolate candy (a couple of Hershey Kisses and a couple of Lindt truffles) while I was out for 45 minutes. She hasn't thrown up yet and doesn't seem to have eaten much of her food this morning. Do I need to seek treatment for her?

My dog, Mila, a 9.5-year-old overweight dog, has been experiencing red eyes and frequent ear scratching. She was prescribed eye ointment by a vet two weeks ago, but I'm unsure if she has allergies. Additionally, she sleeps a lot and has difficulty with stairs. What should I do to address these issues?

My dog, a 12 lbs Maltese mix named Darby (8 months old), ate one Creon pill (36,000 units of pancreas enzymes) and part of a Betaine Hydrochloride 500 mg digestive aid within the last 45 minutes. Is this dangerous?

Can I give anything to my dog to stop diarrhea? My 6-year-old lab, Marley, vomited yesterday and had diarrhea, but the vomiting stopped. The diarrhea continues today. She's usually very healthy. Is there anything I can give her, and after how many days of loose stools should I worry about having her seen?

My 9-pound Chihuahua, Carter, ate about a quarter of a cooked shallot about 20 minutes ago. He had some dog food and a piece of plain baked chicken before that. He seems completely fine so far. What should I do?
