My 7-year-old German Shepherd, Cheyenne, has spinal stenosis and is currently on Gabapentin for pain in her hips, legs, and tail, which has been causing hot spots. I've been using Gabapentin for 3 months and am wondering if CBD oil could be used instead for pain relief, and how to safely transition off Gabapentin. Additionally, Cheyenne has been experiencing eyesight problems since starting Gabapentin, and I'm curious if this is a side effect of the medication.

My 9-month-old Sihtzue/Bishon cross puppy, Murphy Lee, weighs about 14 lbs. He ate one of his bigger chew toys and now, 2 days later, he has only pooped a tiny amount, with blackish-colored nuggets.
