I've been told that colonoscopies are infrequently done without sedation, but the doctor who set up my test insists that I need sedation. As a result, I cancelled my appointment for tomorrow. I had a CT scan and now I am required to go for another CT scan of the kidneys. They found a cyst or benign tumor on my kidney. My doctor doesn't seem too worried about this. If this is benign, do they leave it in there? What causes this to happen? I have no symptoms, although I did notice my urinary output has been decreased lately. I don't really drink a lot of water but do drink a lot of soda. I also take HCTZ 25 mg every day. Any information you can provide is helpful.
