Could your IgG levels for an infectious disease go down to normal after antibiotic treatment? I tested positive for a previous infection to Tick-borne relapse fever (Borrelia hermsii) with a positive IgG (1:128 on a 1:64 reference range) and negative IgM. After two weeks of IV antibiotic treatment, both my IgM and IgG were in the normal range (negative test). Does this mean the first test was a false positive or is it normal for no antibodies to be detected after treatment?

Is it possible to doubt an obsession you once had regarding OCD, and what does it mean when memories can change depending on your mood? Can OCD change the real details of memories or make you believe how you felt in the past?

I've gone through 6 tampons in the last 4 hours with large (quarter size) clotting. This is my second menstrual cycle in 3 weeks. The last one was normal. Normal for me is 4-6 tampons a day. I'm tired and get lightheaded when I stand up or walk around too much. When should I be concerned enough to go to the ER?

I have a health insurance through my workplace but the deductible is very high ($5000). Can I buy supplemental health insurance to lower my deductible and cover the things not covered by my insurance? If so, which companies offer these supplemental insurances and what are they called?

I suffered a fractured fifth cervical vertebra 42 years ago. The injury did not sever my spinal cord but the swelling left me partially paralyzed. My medical doctor retired a couple of years ago and I am having trouble finding another because I'm over 65. I need a prescription for a portable patient lift. Can you help me?

I have been experiencing on/off light-colored stool for approximately 6-8 weeks. I am completely asymptomatic otherwise, working out daily, feeling great, and working as a nursing supervisor. My alcohol intake is usually 3 glasses of wine a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. I had routine labs drawn in February, which were normal, except for slightly elevated cholesterol for about 3 years. I take lovastatin, metoprolol, spironolactone/hydrochlorothiazide, Taztia XT, and various supplements. Should I be worried? Is it possible to feel fine and have normal labs with this going on?
