I have noticed swelling on his face between the corner of his nose to the corner of his mouth, which comes and goes. Is this swelling a side effect of his treatment or related to the spread of the cancer? What could cause this swelling?

I work with dry lumber and am outside all day. I had a hard layer of dry cracked skin and was told that I have a skin fungus. Lotion makes it worse.
