I have been prescribed Topomax and Effexor for anxiety and have experienced stomach distress (constant gurgling and a feeling of a knot in my stomach) for 30 days. Antacids do not help. I am under significant stress and my psychiatrist suggests it could be general anxiety disorder or irritable bowel syndrome. What do you advise?
