How do you know if you have HIV virus?

My son is hypersensitive (over-reacts) to minor pain, appears 'lazy' or tired, not motivated, nervous with new things/situations, over-sensitive to bugs, spaces out (stares into space, forgets what he is doing: needs constant reminding), very loving and very smart, gets As and Bs in school, generally a happy kid. Is this possible chronic adolescent pain?

Why do my periods last so long and what can I do to stop that?

I am experiencing short spells of chest pain/discomfort, but my breathing is fine. The pain seems to change location, sometimes in the center of my chest above the stomach, and now in the mid pectoral area. Could this be related to my heart, lungs, or gastrointestinal issues, especially since I am a heavy smoker?

I have been experiencing tingling in my feet and legs for about a year, which has now progressed to my knees. My left foot cannot bear any weight while sleeping, and I experience numbness in my left big toe. The tingling is more intense at night and does not seem to be affected by movement. I do not have diabetes or heart disease. What could be causing this tingling, and is it treatable or curable? What kind of treatment might be involved?
