I started my next package, finished it, and still don't have my period. I took another pregnancy test yesterday, which was also negative. What could be happening?

I just got Amoxicillin 250mg/5ml Suspension for my 2 1/2 year old daughter who weighs 35.3 pounds. The doctor told me to give her 14 ml every 12 hours for 7 days. Isn't that too much? My 6-year-old son never had to take so much. Can you please help me?
