I am a 33-year-old male experiencing acute pains in my lower left abdomen and back, aching in the tops of my thighs, and a sensation in the genital area that feels like I need to pass water frequently. I have recently been to the hospital for a suspected kidney stone, which was ruled out after blood and urine tests. The pain has persisted and moved to the middle area and genital area. I am concerned that it may be something serious like prostate cancer or prostatitis.

I am trying to get pregnant. I had one shot of Depo Provera in September 2005 and stopped taking birth control pills completely in March 2006. I have been having unprotected sex with my fiancé, have a regular menstrual cycle, but still haven't conceived.
